WHO WE ARE!

Students Concerned for the Needy (SCN) is a service club of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School dedicated to
hands-on projects and programs aimed at helping the cause of needy people in surrounding communities and
beyond. We do this by helping to fulfill a basic need they may have for survival or for the improvement of their
quality of life. We conduct practical programs and projects, provide educational information to the school
community, provide volunteer opportunities for students and staff to get involved in helping those in need, and
foster an attitude of giving and sharing that will enable those who participate to learn life-long volunteer skills.
